Divagations also grants readers early access to excerpts from my novel As It Were: The Long-Lost Blue-Noted Romance Yarn by Amos Bankhead, a forbidden love story wrapped in a crime saga inside a travelogue intimating a blues tune, released for the first time in serial format here on Substack (with posts begrudgingly titled). Subscribe for access to all pieces of the puzzle, and (re)read stories in Archive section of site (select ‘Latest’) in reverse order/from bottom up (per blog format). As It Were… posts are labeled thusly to differentiate book excerpts from other posts on Divagations. Post dates are inaccurate/meaningless and used only to organize posts on site.
